HOPE HOUSE NEWSA
In Her Own Words
With your support, we have the privilege of empowering teen moms at Hope House… and reading messages like the one we received from Lauren:
Lisa, I officially graduated AND best yet, I passed my registry! I am Lauren Vazquez R.T. (R)! My actual graduation day will be Oct 27! I will get you more info once I can. Thank you for believing in me. Especially for sticking by me through the toughest times of my life. THANK YOU to everyone at Hope House! I swear without that stepping stone I do not know where I would be right now.
Like many of our teen moms, Lauren grew up in a dysfunctional, unsupportive home and ended up pregnant as a teenager. She also ended up without a stable place to live with her daughter Sofia, and the two of them moved from house to house, seeking safety and stability. Fortunately Lauren joined Hope House, completed many of our programs, and recently earned a college degree. She is fully self-sufficient!
Thank you for partnering with us to empower Lauren and many, many other teen moms from all around the Denver-metro area!
