Kayla Figueroa joined the Hope House staff in August 2020. Kayla holds a Bachelor of Arts from Metropolitan State University in criminal justice. She has 10 years’ experience with at-risk children and teens. Kayla has worked in various settings including mental health, residential, child placement services and sex trafficking. In her most recent role, she served as the Academic Manager for survivors of sex trafficking at the Denver Street School Hope Academy Program. As a former teen mom herself, she believes in the mission of self-sufficiency and the path to success. Kayla is a Denver native and enjoys ice fishing at Grand Lake.
