Kara Druffel has worked at Hope House since 2015, originally as a Residential Counselor in the Residential Program and an Early Learning Teacher in the Early Learning Program. After several promotions, today Kara is the Residential Program Manager. Kara holds a B.A. from Northwest Missouri State University and is trained in the Bridges Out of Poverty approach to self-sufficiency. Kara has also worked for Fellowship of Christian Athletes Sports Camps and Spectra Autism Center, where she mentored youth in a structured environment. Kara has completed the Supervisor Training course with the Mountain States Employee Council and Cross Cultural Training with the U.S. Census Bureau.  Kara brings great passion and enthusiasm to her position as she works with  her staff to empower teen moms toward economic and personal self-sufficiency. A native of Missouri, Kara loves all things Colorado!
