Jamie began working at Hope House as a Residential Advisor in June 2020. She comes with eight years of experience working at Movement 5280, a drop-in center serving homeless and at-risk youth in Denver where she continues volunteering. Jamie loves the mission of Hope House and has a passion for coming alongside teen moms as they work toward self-sufficiency in a healthy and safe environment in the Residential Program. Jamie’s heart for helping others understand their identity in Christ led her to Bethany Global University in Minnesota in 2016 where she studied intercultural studies and theology. While in this program she spent 16 months as a missionary in Slovenia. With a desire to serve those she works with in even deeper ways, she began pursuing a master’s in counseling online through Grand Canyon University in May 2020. Jamie was born and raised in Colorado; in her free time she loves paddleboarding, hiking, camping and hanging out with the cutest dog!
