Claire joined Hope House as a residential advisor in March 2022. Before coming to Hope House, Claire interned at a maternity home in Virginia while earning her bachelor’s in psychology at Liberty University. It was during this time that God broke Claire’s heart for teens experiencing unplanned pregnancy. Ever since, Claire has felt a calling on her heart to work with teen moms and their little ones. Following her graduation, Claire moved to Missouri to serve as a mentor for struggling teens in a residential treatment setting. It was here that Claire lived with the girls and enjoyed spending time building relationships with them as a mentor. After one and a half years in Missouri, Claire moved to Colorado to be closer to her fiancé. Upon learning about Hope House, she was excited to hopefully become a part of their effort to serve teen moms in Colorado. Claire is currently receiving her master’s in education for school counseling. In her free time, Claire enjoys movie nights with her family, spending time outdoors (when the weather is warm) and painting/being creative. She loves a good sweet tea, long drives and just about anything pink.
